I reserved the hutte Bora Bora no 1 and they move us to the more spacious and recent one no 5, which was appreciated. One night, due to the bad weather and the strong wind, they offered us to stay on a vacant chalet, which again was appreciated.Despite that, I was a disappointed by my experience. I did not expect the site to be in construction. I understand that you have maintenance to do on a campground, but prior to have customer on it. So I would recommend than you book after mid-June to fully benefit of the experience. At our arrival, we were welcomed by the owner but I would have expected more informations rather than discovered them later by myself. Like the water is non-drinking, what is needed to know prior to use a canoe, where are the showers, the garbage bins. A little more organisation would be appreciated.

We stayed here 1 night on the labor day weekend 2020. Hotel doesn't look fancy from the outside. The rooms are all recently nicely renovated and clean. The beds are comfortable. Has a small fridge also. I recommend and would stay again. Front desk person can speak English reasonably well.

Cancellation policy was never explained to me on the phone when calling in. Charged my credit card $100 deposit without authorization, and with over a week's notice, when having to cancel the trip to Bella Coola due a severe and expensive vehicle breakdown, refused to refund this amount. Will be charging back with my credit card company. Poor, greedy, customer service at the peak of tourism season when they have incurred likely no loss from holding my reservation for that date ... which was made only a few days ago.

A disc golfer's paradise, Smith Lake Farm offers long drives, technical lines, and spectacular surroundings. The owners are lovely and happy to show you around the place, and their ask of purchasing a product from the farmstall (as opposed to paying a green fee) is a great way to spend $20. I recommend getting the home made honey.

Staff are Helpful and polite but all of tthe rooms are disgusting and the lighting is depressing and dar at night. Terrible for people with asthma or breathing difficulties ,the air feels wet and moist in rooms and there is black mould due to there being no ventilation. It was such a horrible experience I slept half the night in my car and had to book somewhere else to sleep the next day which was super stressful.

This place was recommend to us by a local. Its a gem. Their restaurant serves smoked food like no other. Dont let the humble exterior and interior fool you. The flavours are incredible. Try the meat platter appetizer (all locally sourced, also the game), and the pork burger. Prices are affordable, especially for this quality.
