Foggy Moon Vacations: Lazy Bear Cabin & Foggy Moon Chalet Guesthouse

We rented the cabin at Foggy Moon for 3 nights. The location is so awesome and is close to all of the local hotspots. The cabin is absolutely adorable from the second you lay eyes on it! We were greeted by our host Vanessa and her hilarious dog and immediately felt welcomed. She showed us to our private cabin and gave us a tour.The cabin looked like it had been freshly painted and had the coolest mural on the wall. The furniture was super cute and looked brand new. The kitchen was the perfect size for a weekend getaway and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable for us. We had our baby with us and we had space to set up his playpen in the lower level for him to sleep which was perfect.We enjoyed our morning coffee and happy hour drinks on the front porch and took in the beauty of this property.We will 100% be back! Thank you for a great stay!

This was our first stay at this cabin! The amenities were fantastic, it’s dog friendly which is amazing, bed was so comfy And the cabin itself is so cozy. It’s about a 30 second walk to the main road and 5 minutes to are various restaurants and cafe’s and you can also walk to Big Beach. It has cable (which was a bonus with the Canucks in playoffs) and the hot tub is a MUST and the person fire pit is a bonus. Vanessa and Matt were very helpful and anyone questions we had they were on top of it. I highly recommended this place!!

Wow. Where to start. Easy to find, convenient location, very close to walking/biking paths. Beautifully done murals in every room. And a bed I might try to sneak into my luggage next trip. Other than nicking a mattress we will most definitely have a next trip. You can't find a better set of hosts than Vanessa and Matt (and their amazing lovable dog)

We had an incredible stay at the Foggy Moon Chalet and would highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a unique and cozy West Coast experience!It is just a stones throw from the Marina and a short walk to all the happenings of Ucluelet as well as Big Beach. With lots of big windows throughout, the chalet gives you the feeling of being surrounded by lush rainforest. There are so many thoughtful and unique touches to be discovered all around this cozy chalet (both inside and out!). From the hand-crafted local art to the stunning murals, you can tell that a lot of love has gone into making your stay memorable!The beds were wonderful - very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having two different seating areas (one for the kids and one for the adults). We thoroughly enjoyed the covered hot tub, an absolute must for after surfing or to warm up after a walk on the beach! We also loved that the chalet is dog friendly and we could bring our pup with us... he had a blast too!Vanessa had excellent communication from the get-go let us know highway closures in advance of our arrival which was extremely helpful. Upon our arrival, Vanessa and Matt and their friendly dog greeted us warmly and gave us some excellent tips on what to do throughout our stay. They are such lovely hosts and were quick to help when we had questions but gave us space as well.If you are looking for wonderful West Coast cabin vibes in the ideal location surrounded by rainforest then look no further!

If you are looking for a great place to stay in the heart of Ukee, then look no further! The cabin is perfect for the family on a weekend getaway to the Westcoast! Matt and Vanessa are super friendly and just a pleasure to deal with! I will definitely recommend to all friends and family!
